ONE good thing is the pay is good (for a manufacturing job, post recession and Reagonomics era) especially in Southern Indiana.
Not really a car guy but the tour was outstanding. Watching the people and robots work together and the size of the facility and the progress of the cars as they are assembled was awesome. Almost made me want to buy a new car.
Even if you're not into cars that much, you'll love the experience here.

Enjoy a 10 year grow-in before you make top-out pay and dealing with constant rule changes as well as having almost no work-life balance. Oh and good luck getting treated in a timely manner if you acquire a work related injury, they will drag you through weeks of icing, stretching, ibuprofen, steroid pills and cortisone injections before they will actually give you an x-ray or MRI and maybe consider surgery.
