I've had quite a bit of work done on my car here. I normally thought they did a good job. Until my tire started making a funny noise and I figured out that 4 out of the 5 of my lugnuts were loose on my left front tire! I'm extremely disappointed in the mechanics there. Lugnuts are the easiest thing to remember and even though it didn't happen, my tire could have easily snapped off while driving because of this. I won't be returning anymore. I have an 18 month old son who luckily was not in the car with me when this occured. But it could've been so much worse and I expected more from "certified mechanics".
At my last oil change my tires were marked as being in the "yellow" and needing replaced soon. Today when I got my oil change again, and a tire rotation they were marked as "green" and acceptable. So I asked the cashier about it. She went to the bay to ask the technician about it and he tells her "The tires are right on the line between green/yellow". I told her I'm just trying to figure out how soon I need to replace them. She offers to come check the tread depth with me there. Two tires were found to be in the RED and two on the lower end of Yellow going into red. She had stated before we went to check my tread depth that the tech was upset with her for overbooking him this morning. Regardless, "acceptable" is far from what they really are because my tires need replaced RIGHT NOW!
Yepp worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Told me to be there at 9 AM to get a driver side tie rod replaced. Got there waited 45 mins for nothing, because he looked at it and nobody came and told me. Went and looked at it already knowing what I needed done just for them to confirm what I needed done. Then proceeded to quote me 300 dollars to get it done and told me they couldn’t do it because they didn’t have the part. (Next door for 21 dollars) then I bought the part but they said that their technician leaves at 12 and he doesn’t have time to do a 30 min job with their equipment. Bad experience never going back.
This place does fine work, once it actually gets done. I made an appointment to have my tires changed approx 6 days from the time of the call. When I arrived that morning, the front desk person appeared confused. This person had to run around to the different areas (they have bins on the walls that hold the tickets, including one marked "today") and could not find my appointment slip. They then looked on the computer and was able to locate my name and the fact that I had an appointment. And nothing else. They did not know what my vehicle was, what brand of tire, or what price we agreed on, even though this was all agreed upon days prior to the appointment day. Then this person took down my phone number incorrectly (mistakes happen, I understand, but I did not learn of this mistake for a while). I happened to mention that I would not need my vehicle for approx 36 hours. This person apparently took this as permission to not have the work on my vehicle completed within the same business day. Had i not needed it, I would have been without my vehicle overnight. I checked back in the next day (physically) to discover they had the wrong phone number. Then I found out my car wasn't completed. Then the person asked if I would like an alignment if needed. I answered "no". Later that day, picking up the vehicle, they told me that they performed an alignment. I said "did you do it for free? Because I told [that person] 'no'". Miscommunication, no alignment was performed. I received my car as promised.
Best One Tire got us right in after my husband had gotten a flat on his way to work. They were very busy but worked hard to get him back on the road quickly. Very friendly and easy to talk to and so helpful. Tom Perry was awesome!Thank you !
UPDATE: The manager called me that same evening to speak with me about what had happened. I was able to return his call the next day and he explained follow up that was occuring on their end and apologized for what had happened. He was thankful for the information I gave. I appreciated that just from reading my review posted here he reached out to hear more about what happened, apologize, and fill me in on the follow up. I will continue be a customer at thier business because of the prompt follow up.
TL; DR. Work was performed as promised, just not in the same business day as scheduled and poor communication skills were had by all. I will not be bringing any business back to this place.
